Mike spent 33 years in the advertising field, first as a writer and later as an ad agency owner for 17 years. His duties included overseeing the marketing and advertising disciplines, producing the creative product, managing the clients, and representing the agency as the primary contact person. He earned his B.A. degree in Advertising & Marketing from Columbia College. Currently, Mike serves as the Director of Communications at Casas Church; his duties consist of being the editor of a 24-page bi-monthly magazine, producing radio and TV commercials promoting the church, and overseeing all of the church’s marketing endeavors. Mike is also an adjunct professor at Pima Community College, teaching in the digital arts department. Mike serves on a number of Boards of Directors in the Christian community, preaches monthly at the Pima County Jail, and helps in feeding the homeless each week through Life In Christ church on the south side. Mike has been married to his lovely wife Cochelle for 26 years. They have one son and three daughters, plus three adorable mutts they rescued from the pound.
