Mike’s background includes fifteen years with Kimberly-Clark Corporation where he founded the custom surgical products division in the late 80’s and spent most of the remainder of his operations career with worldwide responsibility for surgical manufacturing operations. Mike’s responsibilities have also included implementation of multi-site, multi-currency, ERP systems, and systems development for product design and commercialization processes. Mikes’ manufacturing experience also includes the food and beverage industry as well as private manufacturing for the DOD. The last several years Mike’s focus has shifted to marketing and strategic development. He has participated in the business world in multiple arenas as an owner, partner and consultant. Mike has earned his engineering degree (manufacturing & systems) from Ohio State, an MS in Operations Management from Georgia State and completed the University of Arizona MBA comprehensive course and exam in 1987. Mike enjoys many sports with his wife Cindy; including hiking, weightlifting, tandem bicycling, mountain biking, motorcycle touring (they just returned from Canada) and dancing. Mike is an Associate Pastor at Casas Adobes Church in Tucson, Az..and has responsibility for; Human resources, Finance, Facilities, Food Services, Hospitality, Maintenance, Custodial, Property management, Purchasing, Printing services, project management, construction and related business functions for this 8000 member organization.
