The Perfect Gift this Valentine's Day
A wife woke up one morning and said, "Honey, I just had a dream that you bought me a new gold necklace. What do you think it means?"
"I don't know, but Valentine's Day is coming soon. Tuesday, you'll know," he replied.
A few nights later, she again woke up after having a dream, "This time, I dreamed you gave me a pearl necklace. What do you think it means?"
"You'll know Tuesday," He replied.
The night before Valentine's Day, she again woke up telling him about her dream, "This time I dreamed that you bought me a diamond necklace. What do you think it means?"
"Honey, be patient. "You'll know tonight." he said.
That evening, the husband came home with a package and gave it to his wife. Delighted, she opened it--to find a book entitled, "The Meaning of Dreams."
Sometimes we get what we're least expecting! And while we normally expect gifts from one another on Valentine's Day, this occasion is also the ideal time to give something in addition to the traditional candy, flowers, or jewelry.
If you're in a relationship, find one thing that you can do (or stop doing) to make your bond stronger. Maybe it's an attitude that needs changing. Or a habit that needs breaking. Or maybe you can be better at expressing your love to your mate. One of the best things you can give your loved one is the gift of gratitude. Begin cultivating a spirit of gratefulness of the things your partner does - little and big things. You'll discover that one thoughtful change you make can go a long way in making your relationship healthier and stronger!
