It's Girl Scout Cookie Time!
For a brief time every year, beloved Girl Scout Cookies are available.
It is that time of year!
Girls Scout Cookies will arrive in Southern Arizona at the annual Cookie drop on Saturday, February 16, 2008. Cookie Booth sales begin on Thursday, February 21, 2008. Cookies are $4.00 a box and only $48.00 per case.
Joining our traditional favorites - Thin Mints, Samoas, Trefoils, Tagalongs,
Do-Si-Dos and All Abouts - are the newest Girl Scout Cookies, Lemon Chalets
and Sugar Free Chocolate Chip cookies. The Lemon Chalet is a delicious vanilla
sandwich with a hint of cinnamon ginger spice and refreshing zingy lemon
crème filling. The new Sugar Free Chocolate Chip cookie has all the
taste of a classic chocolate chip cookie but none of the sugar. The cookies
are approved for diabetics.
Announcing the Troop to Troop Cookie Program! Soldiers love getting Girl Scout cookies. Girl Scouts love sending them and until now it has been a very costly endeavor for Girl Scout troops to ship cookies to soldiers overseas. Through a partnership with Davis-Monthan and Horizon Moving Systems, SGSC has made it possible to send Girl Scout cookies to all of our deployed military forces! This year the Girl Scouts have a goal to send 250,000 boxes of cookies to our troops overseas.
That is a lot of Thin Mints, Samoas and Do-Si-Dos, but the girls know they can do it! All Troop to Troop Gift of Caring cookies will be collected at very special events on Saturday, April 5, 2008 from 10am to noon (locations to be announced).
