TUCSON MEN'S INDUCTION CENTER
TEEN CHALLENGE OF ARIZONA
The Men's Induction Center at Teen Challenge of Arizona opens their doors
to the Tucson community and invites individuals, families, churches, businesses
and organizations to participate in their inner city outreach program called "SUNDAY
NIGHT LIFE". The walls come down and the gates open as students, staff
and volunteers prepare for evenings filled with good food, music and inspiration
from Teen Challenge students as they share their stories. Everyone is welcome
and the men of Teen Challenge of Arizona are to be applauded for this much
needed ministry.
The Tucson Men's Induction Center is located at 2637 N. Oracle Road, just north of Grant Road. "SUNDAY NIGHT LIFE" begins every Sunday night with dinner at 5:00 p.m. and is followed by a student testimony, devotion, praise, worship and a 15-minute spiritual life message, ending at 7:00 p.m. There is no charge for participants and all ages are welcome.
The passion of the Men's Center Director, Pastor Carl Jackson, is to see other ministries involved in reaching into the inner city of Tucson to bring light to the darkness that has caused such destruction due to life controlling addictions.
"We need help, we can't do it all ourselves," said Jackson. "Any
interested men's group, women's groups or churches that would be willing
to help donate, prepare and serve food are welcome. Come and check us out
and see how your organization or ministry might be able to partner with us
in unity to support
SUNDAY NIGHT LIFE."
Teen Challenge of Arizona is a faith-based organization dedicated to helping individuals who struggle with life controlling addictions. Since 1965, Teen Challenge of Arizona has been combating the drug and alcohol problem in our state with an amazing 86% success rate. The Tucson Men's Induction Center is able to care for up to 30 men ages 18 and older in the first phase of the Teen Challenge Program in Arizona.
Staff member, Vince Fuca, is excited about what prospects this new event may bring.
"We hope participants of SUNDAY NIGHT LIFE will find Jesus Christ; that is our vision. The men here at the center realize they can change their behavior temporarily, but consistency requires an on-going personal relationship with Jesus. We hope they will find Him here; we want to help our community."
