God Calls The Nations

by Deborah Carey

Following a clear vision received in July 2000, a call to Christians across Africa and then across all the earth, to a day of repentance and prayer, a remarkable wave of united prayer has rolled out over Africa and the globe. Tucson, the “wave” is rolling into our city, state and nation. Let there be unity, let there be love, let us come together in Tucson, Arizona on May 10, 2008 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Kennedy Park Amphitheatre and cry out to God for transformation. Come and receive the torch and be AWAKENED – GOD IS CALLING!

Since its beginning in 2005, millions of Christians from over 200 of the world’s 220 nations will gather in different venues, seeking God's face in repentance and prayer for the transformation of their communities and nations. This year’s gathering in Tucson is calling individuals and churches to respond to God’s invitation to “humble ourselves pray, seek His face and turn from our wicked ways” (2 Chronicles 7:14).

This year, churches throughout Tucson will host city-wide prayer meeting for ten days leading up to the Global Day of Prayer (visit www.gdopaz.com for a complete listing of the 2008 scheduled events in Tucson).

The Global Day of Prayer anticipates the forming or furthering of local alliances among pastors, churches, missions and business leaders, to bring practical, transformational blessing to our community.

Come expecting to receive a fresh move of God!
