Local Author and Psychologist, Dr. Jerry Day,
will share parenting techniques at upcoming conference

Has the thought ever crossed your mind, “I love my kids, but they’re driving me crazy!”? Then this one-day conference may be just what you’re looking for!

On Saturday, September 6th, Team Tucson will host a parenting conference titled How to Raise Kids You Want to Keep, based on the book by conference teacher, local author and psychologist, Dr. Jerry Day.

“I am really excited to offer this conference to Tucson, because this conference has the potential to establish parent authority in the house, bring peace to the home, and make families stronger,” says Team Tucson Director and Youth Specialist, Barbara Patterson. “Seasoned parents or those starting out will benefit from going to the conference.”

Dr. Day will be presenting techniques that he has used on his own kids as well as with his client's children. “He will be addressing the real concerns of parents; he will cover techniques that will directly address parents’ needs. He will also be addressing ADHD children and how they are wired differently and how to address these needs in parenting and discipline,” said Patterson.

“The techniques have been used on hundreds of kids and proven to work. They worked for me,” concludes Patterson.

Dr. Day’s book, How to Raise Kids You Want to Keep, starts from the understanding that it is a daily challenge for parents to incorporate positive discipline techniques and practices that put an end to tantrums and rebellion. Techniques offered at the conference and in the book will help parents develop authority in the home and establish healthy parent-child relationships.

Conference Fees:
Single Registrant is $30, add a spouse for $15
One copy of “How to Raise Kids You Want to Keep” per household with registration. Registration deadline is August 23rd.

On site Prepaid Child Care Available:
For prepaid on site child care, write a separate check to Team Tucson. $10.00 per child for conference time. Children will be with parents during the lunch break.
