19th Annual 94.9 MIXfm Baby Fair is Fun, and Free!

Moms, Dads, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and Kids – the WHOLE family is invited to 19th Annual 94.9 MixFM

“It’s everything you need for your family!” says Jessica King, Promotions Manager at 94.9 MIXfm.

“This year, the event will feature numerous exhibitors ranging from baby needs to kids’ needs to fun ways to make parent’s lives easier.”

From balloon artists to jumping castles, the event is a great way to beat the Tucson heat. Located in the Grand Ballroom at the TCC, the event is expected to attract nearly 10,000 people.

“It's like going to a 'ginormus' family-friendly mall that is specifically for parents, parents to be, babies and toddlers! It's fun, it's educational, it's the place to be. I love the Diaper Derby, Ronald McDonald…I can't wait!" says Bobby Rich of the Bobby Rich Morning MIX on 94.9 MIXfm.

A big hit at each year’s fair is the Diaper Derby, which takes place twice during the course of the Fair. At each time, there will be two “heats.” Five babies crawl across the stage in a race to the finish line. The first baby from each heat to make it across the stage will then race against each other. The baby that makes it across the stage first in the Championship heat wins a $150 gift card to Babies R Us. Parents can sign their babies up for the Derby at the 94.9 MIXfm info booth.

Also this year, Good News Tucson and MIXfm have joined together to offer a second “Summer Fun Get-Away” to Six Flags Magic Mountain in Southern California. The trip includes passes to Magic Mountain and Hurricane Harbor, hotel and airfare. A winner (age 13 or under) will be chosen through a “Guitar Hero” contest at the Baby Fair.
