Family Holiday Performances

This holiday season, get out of the house and check out the great Christmas performances and holiday concerts that are offered in the Tucson area. Many of the performances are free, some require pre-purchased tickets. From stories for children to an evening alone for Dad and Mom, get ready to celebrate Christmas, Tucson-style!

Zoo Lights!
Come and see our very own zoo light up the night with Zoo Lights, a spectacular display of lights and colors spread throughout the zoo. Don’t miss this opportunity to see Santa, drink some hot cocoa and maybe even catch a snowflake!

Snowfall ‘07
Once again, La Encantada Shopping Center will have snow. On select evenings throughout the holiday season, come to the courtyard and watch as the snow drops from the sky above La Encantada. While you’re there, grab some hot chocolate and enjoy live music from the Tucson Harmony Group. Arrive early – the courtyard fills quickly. The show is free and lasts for 15 minutes beginning at 6 and 7 p.m.

Luminaria Nights
The beautiful garden paths of the Tucson Botanical Gardens will be transformed into a Southwest Wonderland, with holiday music and more than 2,000 luminaries to light your way through the garden. Be sure to sample the delicious tamales and empanadas or the yummy cookies!

The Great Russian Nutcracker
