Lonestar Kicks off Christmas-Season
with new CD at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store and multi-platinum recording group Lonestar have combined authentic Country music with the joys of Christmas this holiday season. The result is a new CD titled My Christmas List and places another exclusive recording in Cracker Barrel's growing collection of quality country music.

Now on sale at all Cracker Barrel locations and online at crackerbarrel.com, My Christmas List features eleven newly recorded songs, highlighted by the energetic vocals delivered by Lonestar's new lead singer, Cody Collins. In addition to nine Christmas classics like Joy to the World, Silent Night, and Jingle Bells, this Lonestar CD features two new songs written especially for this project. The CD's title track, My Christmas List, reflects how priorities change with age.

"Christmas is my favorite holiday and this song describes how my Christmas list has progressed over the years," said Lonestar's Dean Sams. "It used to be all about me and the cool toy I wanted. These days, I just want my family to be healthy and happy."

With this release, Lonestar joins other Country artists who have partnered with Cracker Barrel to create unique projects sold exclusively at Cracker Barrel. In 2007, Cracker Barrel released exclusive CDs featuring Josh Turner and Merle Haggard. Previous releases included Alison Krauss & Union Station, Sara Evans, Charlie Daniels and Amy Grant.

"This Lonestar CD is a holiday gift to be enjoyed long before Christmas Day," said Simon Turner, Cracker Barrel's Chief Marketing Officer. "As we welcome people in our homes this season and travel to visit family, this CD will provide the holiday spirit wherever people are gathered."

Also in November, Lonestar will take its act on the road. The "Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Presents Lonestar's My Christmas List Tour" begins November 29th in Dubuque, Iowa. The tour also includes shows in Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maryland and North Carolina.

Since forming in 1992, Lonestar has scored 17 hit singles on the Billboard chart, including ten #1 hits and has sold more than ten million records. Three of their CDs went platinum, including 1999's Lonely Grill which went triple-platinum. More success followed in 2003 when My Front Porch Looking In was named Billboard's "Most Played Country Song of the Year."
