CARE Fair
This 'one-stop shopping' event, July 27 - 28, provides families in need with a variety of services including dental checkups, medical exams, immunizations, legal services and food baskets. Volunteers help with registration and logistics. Last year over 10,000 people received services.

Administration for Disaster Preparedness
Assist the Director of an AmeriCorps disaster preparedness project. Your professional skills will facilitate recruitment, written and oral communication, information management and grant research.

Green Valley Business Counselors
SCORE volunteers share their valuable business skills and experience. They are recognized community and business leaders who provide free, one-on-one counseling. Call 260-6617.

Volunteer at Home
Coordinate delivery of meals to homebound clients by phoning drivers listed in a database. This critical position can be completed in a couple hours each week. Required skills: partly detective, completely friendly.

Harnessing Board Members
Develop community awareness of Desert Dove Farms' horse therapy programs for youth. Apply your knowledge about nonprofits and fundraising to build networks and financial support. Call 296-0320.

Wednesday Evenings
Learn about Southern Arizona Aids Foundation and help with bulk mailings, packet assembly or the project of the day. Fun and snacks from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Girl Scout Outreach
Assist with programs that introduce underserved girls to Girl Scouts. The programs last 6 - 8 weeks and are held in schools or parks. If you value friendship, challenge, integrity, and fun, you are qualified to help.

Computer Tutor
Teach basic computer skills, including common programs and use of the Internet, to small groups of adults. You choose the time of day you wish to tutor.

Wellness Clinics for Seniors
Assist public health nurses by checking blood pressure and other senior health needs. Volunteering improves your health. Are you as fit as the seniors you'll check?

Community Projects
Jewish Family & Children's Service sponsors projects throughout the year. Volunteers assist with various aspects of these events, bringing joy to needy families in our town.

Literacy Tutors, Age 55+
