Summer is here, and Tucson youth are ready for a vacation! We've studied hard all year, and now it is time to have some fun in the sun!
I went to the Foothills Mall and asked students what they were doing for summer vacation. Here is what they said:

J., 7th grade, Pusch Ridge Christian Academy "I am going to Kanakuk Kamps in Colorado. It's a Christian sports camp for kids. I'm looking most forward to playing basketball." |

As you can see, going to camp is a popular summer destination! If you have not made summer camp plans, here are some places in town to check out:
- The YMCA of Metropolitan Tucson has several summer day camps, including sports camps, horse riding camps, and camps to build leadership skills. For more information, visit www.tucsonymca.org and click on "branches" to find a YMCA branch near you.
