JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa will be hosting its 11th Annual Marriott Southern Arizona Golf Invitational on Friday, November 9th. The tournament will benefit two local charities: Children's Miracle Network and the Tucson Conquistadores. The golf invitational will be followed by an elegant evening gala and silent auction at Starr Pass.

The invitational, which is a golf foursome, includes lunch, tickets for two to the evening gala, and one super raffle ticket per player. As a super raffle ticket holder, participants will have the opportunity to win the $10,000 grand prize.

In addition to a fun day of golf, fantastic food and the potential to win prizes, participants will be able to take pleasure knowing that their registration fees are making an impact on local children. The Children's Miracle Network provides specialized care for children and families in Southern Arizona, and the Tucson Conquistadores promotes interest in amateur athletics among youth in Tucson, especially disadvantaged and handicapped children.

In 2006, nearly $60,000 was raised. Proceeds went directly to Tucson chapters of the Children's Miracle Network, the many charitable works of the Tucson Conquistadors and the Arthritis Foundation. Since 1997, Marriott's tournament has raised nearly $184,000.
