My Nana's Salsa Challenge will spice things up in Tucson this fall - on Saturday, November 10th at Reid Park Outdoor Performance Center (900 S. Randolph Way) from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. The event is a fundraiser for the Arizona Hemophilia Association, a non-profit organization that serves individuals and families affected by bleeding disorders.

The My Nana's Salsa Challenge is a culinary event featuring restaurants, businesses and individuals competing to make the best salsa in their category. Over 30 competitors prepare fresh salsa on-site in either the mild or hot category. The grand champion will win a grand prize trip. Attendees can vote for their favorite with the People's Choice Award.

Attendees will enjoy sampling salsas and consume over 1000 pounds of My Nana's Best Tasting tortilla chips. The event also features the Main Stage with live, local acts throughout the day.

Kids can also enjoy a day of fun at the event's FUNZONE, featuring interactive games for the entire family including a moon bounce, bungee run and obstacle course. The FUNZONE is entirely free all day long.
